Doncaster Sheffield Airport is in the process of reopening, marking an exciting new chapter. We are looking for Apprentice Firefighters to be part of this journey, a unique opportunity to join the Airport Fire & Rescue Service at a pivotal time and help build a modern, professional and highly capable emergency response team that will underpin the safe and resilient operation of the airport from day one. As an Apprentice Firefighter you will train and develop to play a critical role in protecting passengers, staff, aircraft and infrastructure, responding to a wide range of incidents in a fast-paced, safety-critical aviation environment. You will undertake the Level 3 Operational Firefighter Apprenticeship, earning while you learn and working towards competency as a firefighter. 42 contractual hours per week. Role is subject to relevant aviation security checks.

The link from this page that takes you to the Doncaster council job vacancies, does not show this role available. I believe it states the cut off date is the 4th October. is there any other way to apply?

It says application closing date is 4th October but the job isn't on the jobs board anymore, I have been working out of the country and was going to submit it today.
Could you confirm where the 12-week residential firefighter training course will be held, and whether trainees are permitted to return home at any point during the course, or if they are required to remain on site for the full 12 weeks?
The residential course will be at the Fire Service College, Moreton-in-Marsh. Training will typically take place Monday to Friday.

Is living within 20 miles negotiable if I am willing to relocate?
