Buy on AmazonWe've brought together a selection of useful kit, pocket tools and everyday gear for firefighters — reputable products that can genuinely earn a place in your tunic pocket, kit bag or station locker, rather than novelty gadgets and cheap "tactical" equipment.
From compact hand tools and inspection torches to charging equipment, organisation and everyday station essentials, these are the sort of useful extras that can make life on station just that little bit easier.
Personally purchased equipment should never replace service-issued PPE, rescue equipment or approved operational kit. Always follow the policies and procedures of your own Fire & Rescue Service.
